Origin Story

I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the state of Minnesota. This phase of my life began with navigating themes of hopelessness and low self-worth through walking the path of the hero’s journey. While traversing my personal abyss, I journaled my experience and wrote my first book not Super but Human. While writing, I researched how to incorporate the empowering path of the Hero’s Journey with existentialism, narrative therapy, and the Stages of Change. The resulting framework was meant to be a supportive guide for anyone seeking personal growth, discovering purpose, or struggling to rebuild their identity post crisis.

In my work, I developed the Heroic PATH Model, a unique goal setting model meant to encourage self-discovery and the pursuit of purpose. Individuals are encouraged to walk the Hero’s Journey, challenging problematic narratives to rewrite themselves as the heroes of their own stories. This framework became the foundation for the Everyday Hero PATH Program, a coaching group focused on personal growth, fostering strength, and connection to others.

I look forward to running my first cohort of the Everyday Hero PATH Program, providing group and individual coaching inspired by the Heroic PATH Model.
